Special Nature Reserve “Slano Kopovo”

In 2001, by the Serbian Government Decree , Special Nature Reserve “Slano Kopovo” got the status of the first category natural resource of great importance. It is one of the last preserved salt marshes in Serbia. A rare salty waters, which has been preserved to this day in the complex of the Potisje floodplain soil terrain

Arača

Arača is one of the most important monuments from medieval architecture in Vojvodina. As a cultural monument, it was placed under the protection of the state on February 16, 1968, by the decision of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.

Old Town

The fortress “Old Town” on the river Tisa bank, that was fortification in the 20s of the 13th century, is very special and attractive historical place in our town. It was built between 1300 and 1320 and its main purpose was to protect and control river boating and to charge the customs for goods transportation from Banat to the other parts of Austro-Hungarian monarchy.

Glavas' house

In the heart of Vranjevo, the old part of the settlement of Novi Bečej, there is the Homeland Museum Glava's House. The house of the great Novi Bečej benefactor and humanist from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century represents the architectural-stylistic and cultural-historical value of Novi Becej.

Kotarka

The Homeland Museum "Kotarka" also belongs to the ambient whole of the castle of the count's family Karačonji in Beodra (Novo Miloševo). Extremely valuable ethno exhibition of the museum in the former district and the old grain warehouse as an exhibition space, are a real gem in the treasury of the tourist offer of the municipality of Novi Becej.
