JEDINSTVO Sports and Recreation Center in Novi Bečej is in the center of the town. It exists since 1946, when JEDINSTVO Sports Association was established, till today, when there are nine sports clubs with more than 800 members in the Sports Federation of Novi Bečej Municipality. Citizens call this facility Sports Hall. It is attached to elementary school “Miloje Čiplić“, not only physically but also in terms of sports and recreational activities. In the Sports Hall there are small and middle gym usually for P.E. lessons, fitness gym with Olympic Bars, open basketball court and open futsal court. Every gym and their equipment are adapted to amateur and professional sports: basketball, handball, football, karate, weightlifting, table tennis etc. The closeness of the hotel TermeTiskiCvet and other accommodation facilities, allows athletes and professional teams to organize the preparations for the upcoming competitions. We are host to sports clubs from Serbia as well as from abroad. Teams from Hungary, Romania, B&H, Croatia, Russia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Canada, France, Angola come to Novi Bečej gladly to train in the sports camps. Above all we are proud of the decade-long cooperation with the Basketball Association of Serbia, which is preparing its National Basketball Team in the younger categories at the Sports and Recreation Center "Jedinstvo".

For those who want to spend an active holiday here in Novi Bečej we can offer boules, tennis, beach volleyball, handball, football, beach soccer, gym, bowling, open and indoor basketball court.

-Next to the river Tisa are also tennis court, beach volleyball court and beach soccer court are special attraction during the summer when the swimming season on the river is open. Hundreds of visitors enjoy in the sports and recreational activities, and freshen up in the restaurants next to the river.

-We are especially proud of the newly opened bowling alley in the Cultural Centre in Novi Bečej. This modern sports facility with four bowling lanes are open for everyone who wants to try themselves in this sport, and to show some skills.

-Football field is also close to the river bank. It is available for anyone who likes this sport. Football Club JEDINSTVO has long tradition. The first football match was played on 1st August in 1909, and the first Football Club was established in 1911 (Törökbecse Sports Association). From then until today, the football club has collected many awards and the tradition continues in good direction.
